Grand Success of the 2024 Industrial & Commercial Renewable Heating and Cooling Technology Exchange Conference
The Shanghai event gathered experts, enterprises, and officials to discuss renewable heating and cooling, including solar thermal systems, EFPC flat plate collectors, heat pumps, and geothermal utilization.
Shanghai, December 4, 2024
The highly anticipated 2024 Industrial & Commercial Renewable Heating and Cooling Technology Exchange Conference was successfully held in Shanghai, bringing together industry experts, scholars, company representatives, and government officials. Co-hosted by the Clean Energy Application Branch of the China Construction Metal Structure Association (CCMSA) and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the event supported China’s dual-carbon goals by promoting clean energy transition in the industrial and commercial sectors.
Leadership Address
Mr. Han Rongtao, Chairman of Soletks Group and President of the CCMSA Clean Energy Application Branch, delivered the keynote address. He emphasized that the dual-carbon strategy requires both strong policy backing and the united effort of all participants in the energy sector. Han highlighted emerging technologies such as heat pumps, solar heating, combined heat and power (CHP), geothermal energy, and industrial waste heat recovery as critical to reducing fossil fuel reliance, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and enhancing energy efficiency.
Raising Standards for Large-Scale Clean Projects
Han also noted that large-scale renewable heating projects must meet stringent standards for environmental assessments, design, pipeline retrofitting, and construction. By integrating solar thermal, photovoltaic, geothermal, heat storage, and advanced piping, model projects can demonstrate scalable, efficient solutions for the industry.
Soletks EFPC Flat Plate Collectors in the Spotlight
Soletks Group showcased its innovative EFPC flat plate solar collectors, designed for large-scale heating projects:
Combines high-efficiency solar absorption with smart control for automated operations.
Awarded the Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
Widely applied in projects nationwide, including the Qusong County District Heating Project in Tibet, featuring 36,000 m² of collector area.
These achievements underline Soletks’ role as a leader in renewable heating and cooling technologies.
Building a Collaborative Platform
The conference provided a premium platform for cooperation and knowledge sharing. Participants exchanged insights, discussed technical challenges, and identified opportunities for joint innovation. The event emphasized that renewable heating and cooling will continue to expand, supporting China’s zero-carbon goals.
Congratulations and Outlook
We warmly congratulate the successful conclusion of the 2024 Industrial & Commercial Renewable Heating and Cooling Technology Exchange Conference. With continued collaboration among government, academia, and industry, China’s renewable heating and cooling sector is expected to achieve even greater innovation and growth in the years ahead.
